The Hiding Place, by Jalaluddin Rumi
The most secure place to hide a treasure of gold
is in some desolate, unnoticed place
Why would anyone hide treasure in plain sight?
And so it is said,
"Joy is hidden beneath sorrow."
It is almost the new moon, and on another inspiring blog, Miss R, has reminded me of the power of the new moon, especially the Virgo Moon, tomorrow. In homage to the new Virgin Moon, I am cleaning out my soul closet of unwanted habits, patterns, thoughts and worn-out beliefs which have cluttered my psyche of late...and with this I hope to find my Joy hidden beneath.
That Which I Wish to Let Go:
My unbridled anger and resentment
The guilt that usually follows nipping at anger's heels.
Self-Doubt
Self-Condemnation
Control
Fear of being Me
What I wish to Become:
Gentle with myself and others.
Loving to myself and others
Appreciative of the simple blessings all around me
Nurturing
Accepting
Connected to the Divine
See with New Eyes
Joyfully flowing with the Beauty of Life
The New Moon by Maxfield Parrish
I started two other posts over the past week but did not publish them...this blogging this is quite daunting at times and I am soo very rusty in articulating myself...wow...I will publish them in time, I owe my jumbled and fumbling thoughts that much respect ;) Namaste
